Hi there, thought i may as well introduce myself. I'm Chris, I live in Stoke on Trent, in sunny England, I have a '96 Accent Si Coupe. this was my dad's car who had it since it was 3 years old before changing to a Rover!

I got to say, i'm very pleasantly surpised with the car, i bought it as a daily drive really while I work on my other car, a '66 VW Beetle, but i've kinda got hooked on tidying the Accent up, and been throwing a bit of money at it over the past few months.

I only really NEED to keep it running smooth and regularly serviced, I drive 110 miles a day to get to work and back so function SHOULD win over style, but I'm so tempted to get some nice alloys for it, seems the stock wheels are way too narrow for the amount of torque the little 1300 engine puts out, and its way too easy to spin the wheels when pulling away!

The thing i like the most about this car is that you can still do things yourself, Hyundai don't seem to have been scared to hide the mechanics under plastic trim to stop you playing with it!
