Default 2007-2008 Tiburon Stock Stereo & Rear Speakers Removal

Hi everyone. I need some advise on how to remove the stock stereo and rear speakers from my 2007-2008 Hyundai Tiburon. Everything is well put together and almost tamper proof. Is there any one who can help out?

In order to remove the back panels , You must first remove the Back Seat ( ie. if u place ur hand in between the cusion and the back of the seat u should find Two bolts .Take these out. And in front off the cusion push and pull on the buttons to remove the front of the seat. ) Then u must remove the back of the seat ( in the niddle of the two seats there should be a screwed bracket that holds down the seats remove these brackets and the slide the seats to one side and the seat will come out.) Now the two covers in the trunk where ur seat belts go into u must remove those covers there will be a screw in there. There will also be another screw in the middle of the pannel. From there on u can just pop the rest apart.

Hope that helps.

To get the Head Unit out, open the ashtray and grab the bottom of the trim and pull it out. It takes a good pull but not too hard. Once the trim is off, removing the head unit is just 4 screws.
