Default Adding An Ipod Input To A Stock Hyundai Head Unit

I'd like to hear from anyone who has added an iPod input to the stock head unit using a PXAUX auxiliary input unit along with a PGHHY3 wiring harness. The specific wiring harness varies by model and year, but the PXAUX unit is supposed to work with a wide range of models (mine is an '08 Sonata). Specifically, I'd like to hear how well this works and does it just provide a dumb interface to the iPod (i.e. all control of the iPod is still handled using the controls on the iPod), or does it provide some level of control through the headunit?

Thanks, Brian

Wow, over 2 years and no answers? I'm wanting to know the same thing, for my 2007 Sonata.

This is what search engines are for:

For some reason, the jpg images in the post have been corrupted.

I've restored the photos to the thread I cited, but my efforts appear to be in vain. The PGHHY3 harness for the 2007 & 2008 Sonata is no longer available.
