Default Touchup Paint

Anyone have any suggestions on touch up paint? My Santa Fe is just 3 wks old, and I already have a couple of tiny scratches. They are through the paint, so they can't be buffed out. They are very small, but noticeable, especially with the dark blue paint. Most touch up paints just have a brush which seems to glob the paint on. Saw an ad on this forum when I joined, but don't see it now. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I think the best bet is to get touch up paint from the dealer. You might get it slightly cheaper online, but by the time you pay for shipping it's usually cheaper through the dealer. I think they have both the little bottle with the brush and spray cans.

I have an 02 XG350 that has Evening Fog as a color. I ordered touchup paint from my Hyundai Dealer and its nowhere close to my color! Much much darker! The parts man there said that Hyundai is not very good when it comes to touchup paint for their cars. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you sure you ordered/received the correct color? What is the color code stamped on the plate in the drivers door? "Evening Fog" is code QD. That exact same color was called "Slate Grey" on the Sonata that year. Are you sure you don't have BX "Titanium" paint?

Ill have to check the codes on it but as I can recall, the bottle had "Evening Fog" written on it, so I never questioned it. Thanks for the heads up though!

What I'm saying is, maybe your car ISN'T Evening Fog. Maybe it's the lighter Titanium. Check the code on the car itself also.

you can check the code online and then find a good retailer like a touchup paint site.
