i have a 2004 elantra. the air conditioner and heater work great. unfortunatly the blower only works on high (the highest setting being 4). everyting else works perfectly. the temp control andthe vent selector both work. also, the light is out only for the middle *** (blower controller i guess its called) and the air circulation button.

If you have less then 60000 miles this would be warrenty. If not you need a blower resistor it is located on the bottom of the heater box between the blower motor and the console. As far as the lights the bulb can be replaced by pulling the control head from the dash. Th bulbs are common automotive bulbs avalible at any auto parts store.

 

thnx for the help. im going to look into the warranty. i bought it used but if i remember correctly i bought an extension or something. gotta dig through the paperwork.

as far as doing it myself, (if its not under warranty) ill take a look at replacing the risistor. however, i think that might be a tad outside of my paygrade.
