Good morning I have a 2005 Santa Fe with deteriorated wiring harness on driver's front door.. Is there a repair connector For this or do you have to buy a whole new wiring harness . Thank you

 

You have no idea what can of worms you open up attempting to replace a wiring harness there.

Because those wires flex every time the door is opened and closed, the right kind of wire and where the connections are placed can make all the difference in the world.
Suggest you get a little background on wiring before you attempt any repair there. A quickie may work for a while , but if the job is done halfa---- you will be doing it over.

you are so right about the flexing of the harness.
I was able to repair a few of the wires with butt joints But of course another wire broke. Thats why im questioning if there is a repair connector.

 

If there is ,I am not aware of it's availability..

Some of the things to keep in mind,
The wire chosen to replace needs to be more flexible than just standard primary wire.
The splices should be made both, before the flex and after and not in the area where the flexing takes place.
This can require opening up the harness as you already know from making the last repair.
It takes some patience , the right material and the right tools.. If you are determined to tackle the job, have accumulated the right equip and have the time , t can be a rewarding endeavor. I enjoy doing that type work, but we may not share the same feelings.
