2006 Elantra Rear brake squeal
I have a 2006 Elantra, and recently started experiencing a loud squealing sound on my right rear brake. It only happens after I have been traveling at higher speeds (55+) when I start to slow down. The sound will continue until the car has been parked for a while, and won't happen again until the car is back at higher speeds. When I press the brake, the sound stops, but starts up again when no brake is applied! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Pretty simple diagnosis,, remove the wheel andlook at the pads...
Try rotating the rotor via the wheel studs,, does it rotate freelyor drag ?
You pad(s) is either worn enough for the wear sensor on the inboard pad to drag the rotor face, ar the pads seized inthe mounts and dragging and heating the friction material and making noise..
