2013 Elantra hatchback car alarm going off randomly
Hi all. Recently the car alarm in my 2013 Hyundai Elantra hatchback has been going off randomly. I get it to stop by grabbing my fob and clicking one of the buttons. But it is just going off for no reason, and I'm trying to figure out how I can just disable the entire alarm. I don't need it. Thoughts? Thanks!

Sometimes the wind will rattle the hood of the vehicle and cause the alarm to go off
Other times it is a strong wind that blows.
Either case, try looking at the hood close switch
Or the switch that opens when the hood is closed
Sometimes the switch is not pushed far enough when the hood is closed and will rattle with the wind.
If that isn't the problem then you may need a new alarm
Or someone who knows how to troubleshoot it
