Hyundai Getz Dash light problem
Can anyone help, i have a 2004 Getz and all of the sudden my dash lights have gone off?? We have looked at the fuses and they are fine, we also made sure we checked that the dimmer was all the way up, i really done want to spend hundreds on a auto elec and Hyundai service department are saying they have to see it before they can tell me a price to fix.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Had a similar problem on a Getz of similar vintage. Problem went away when we pulled the “CLUSTER” fuse, waited a little while, and put the fuse back in.
Someone elsewhere reported the problem starting/ending (can’t remember which) when they changed the car battery, so I speculate that pulling the fuse for a while was effectively turning it off and on again. There’s a chip in the instrument cluster board right behind the dials, so perhaps that chip drives the lights, and was confused.

Pull fuse, wait, replace.
