please someone help i have an 04 accent and cant find headers for it or tails or anything for that matter i have several years of tech exp and had to hand build my intake and exhaust as well all of my interior mods i need help my ride is seriously lacking hp and the headers are the lost ark of the covenant the final piece to me having had completed my quest lol its late ne way please some one help

 

you won't find them as far as i know. i have an '04 accent as well and i can't find them for the life of me. you'd be looking at a custom job. also remember that the cat is actually welded to the exhaust manifold so there's another problem to overcome.

the accent is not a fast car and is not meant to be. personally i find it reasonable for what it is, but i drive a 5-spd. i find the autos painfully slow. theres not much you can do to this car besides the standard cold air intake (also a custom job) and performance exhaust. those won't do much either.

if you really really want a fast accent the best route is to swap out the engine for a beta from a tiberon and turbo it. the 1.6L accent engine won't take the turbo too well.
