Default weatherstrip coming off (santa fe)

hey guys,

08 santa fe and having it for 6 months. Just notice that all 4 weatherstrip are coming off from the cabin like if they were to short.

Been looking on the net and seems that it s a common problem. I know it s under warranty but dont want to bring it to the dealer without knowing what they should do.

Any one experience that problem before and what did the dealer do to correct it?

Thx

derry

why don't you want to take it to the dealer? its their job and responsibility to take care of the problem for you - probably replace the weather stripping. you have a warranty, use it.

You might be right. I m hoping for a quick solution like " wait till it s warmer, remove it and stick it back in place with some kind of glue"

Obviously, they came off during winter when it probably shrunk du to cold weather.

On second though, its not the weatherstip but more the finition trim that links the interior panel and the body.

As for the dealers, less the better. I m kind of a freak when it come to my cars so if i can avoid a trip to the dealer for them to scratch and not taking care of it, i ll pass.

Next maintenance, i ll let them know.
