So I have a 2003 santa fe 3.5L. It cranks and cranks but wont start. Once in a while it will act like its about to but doesn't. Before that I was driving and all of a sudden it started losing power lights and all that, then started chugging like it was out of gas and also twice lurched real hard then it just died. I got it started again holding my foot on the gas but it didn't barely go above 3-4 thousand rpm. Now no start.

 

You need to check for fuel and spark. Good possibility one of them is not whee it should be.
