2002 Hyundai Accent Issues
I am having a great deal of problems now that my car is paid off. I bought my Accent new and I have had to replace the pulse generator every 20,000 miles. The brakes for this vehicle don't last, even when repaired by the dealership, and I am told now that the repairs are not covered, even with my power train warrantee. I have spent over $1000 in the last 2 months trying to get this car working properly and nothing is working. I have replaced the struts, shocks, replaced throttle position sensor, right wheel bearing, front rotors and pads, right ball joint, outer tie rod, and drive belts. Just today my check engine light has come on, the vehicle has a continuous vibration on the passenger side that can be felt through the gas petal, and if I go over 40 mph for longer than 20 minutes, the car has a difficult time slowing down and has a very loud grumble when decelerating. The mechanics are stumped and I am literally throwing money away and never getting the problem fixed. Any suggestions on what to look for or try next?

I would never take my car to a dealer for brakes. They aren't under warrantee, so there is no point to it. Find your self a good brake shop around town. Or even find a local Jr. College that has a auto shop and a brake class. Either should be able to find out what problems you are having better then a dealer.
