Why not contact your Hyundai dealer service department and parts department and see what a factory unit will cost you:

Hey guys, that would be because {so far as I know} Hyundai does not make a cruise control setup for an Accent, and this is why it is not even an option, with any current, US Accent package.

......which is a bummer, as you might notice that I had just posted a thread concerning CC on my Accent also. I did post a link to what looks like a decent, aftermarket unit, albeit somewhat pricey. I mentioned it to my mechanic, and he kind of sounded like it might be a pain in the butt to install (although I'm sure he could do it) and then he called it a 2 to 3 hour job ! Even at my mechanic / friends very reasonable rates, this is looking like a $400 job to me ! Yikes !

Hmmmm......

Peace,
Fish

I bought and installed an Audiovox CC on my Accent. I think its the CCS100 or something like that. If you are at all handy, it installs easily in about 2 hrs. Up here in Canada, I paid 140.00 for the kit. It works very well.

cheers!

i will be installing the ccs-100 next week (spring break) in my 07 GS. i have read over the instructions afew times, it looks pretty simple. you just need some general car knowledge, and alittle research. I will let you know how it turns out. also i payed 100 dollars shipped and i bought it from summitracing.com

Hi all.... Bringing this back because I want to do this as well! What about the peeps that did in fact install the CC for their Accents? How are they working out for you fellas..? Did anyone ever install that said they might do an unstall? Im going on a road trip 1700miles in March here in a month and a half and would like to get this done before I swoop out!

Default 2009 Accent cruise control

I've just purchase a CCS Audiovox cruise for my Accent. Is the VSS pin 19 in the fuse area to left of steering wheel? Anyone who has done this install do you have any details or suggestions for mounting the unit in the engine compartment and also the additional vacumn canister that was recommended.

I was told by audiovox today that the ccs-100 will not work in this vehicle. They recommended the 250-1316 and 250-3421. I also found out that they are going to release a 250-1799 custom cruise kit for Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio's. I guess I'll wait for the new one. If they already have a part # it can't be too far down the road.
