Default 2007 Hyundai Accent Crankshaft Sensor

I was driving my car, went to accelerate and my car died on me. Radio was still on but engine just like died. Pulled over, turned car off, tried to turn back on, wouldn't start, it turns over , sounds like trying to start but wouldn't. Got diagnostic machine, the code said crankshaft sensor. Got the crankshaft sensor replaced, nothing.

Any ideas??

Scanners can only tell you where to look for the problem.
And only sometimes does replacing the part ever solve the issue

You have to do alittle bit more testing before replacing parts
Take a volt meter and check to see if the sensor is getting supply voltage and has good ground.
Check continuity of signal wire to ECU.
Check to see if reference voltage is there.

If the crank sensor is not working then check to see there is spark or fuel?
Does the fuel pump prime when the key is first turned to the on position?

Well, hope that is a start for what to look for
There is more but start with the basics first.
