2011 Accent fuel consumbtion

I have 2011 accent 1.6 vvt and i have high fuel consumption i wanna know the true MPG for that car

I have a 2011 as well and on average drive 55 MPH. Its a automatic and i am getting 28 MPG. I wish it was more.

i have a 2006 accent gls with the same engine,with AT.
my commute is 35 miles each way...suburban and high way driving...about 50/50
my average over 78000 miles has been 34 mpg consistantly.
on trips with just highway driving it is closer to 40mpg

I have the 2012 Accent and I consistently get over 40mpg in town. Im driving very conservatively and employing some hypermiling basics like controlling the acceleration and keeping the rpms low for the most part. The car is great with gas.
