2012 ACCENT Anyone Have ???

I think hyundai makes their rims and probably took a similar styling to the rims the SE has, which I have and they make the car look much better up close and far away.
there is an annoying problem with the car, but its bearable... when it rains, the water that hits the wheel well is LOUD, like its kicking up pebbles. Speaking of pebbles, if it picks ups a pebble from the road and hits the underside, you hear it and its loud, like a pop. My old-*** sentra was quieter when driving through the rain and just as quiet when driving through a rocky road.

We have ordered a GS with AT.
I drove a 4dr with AT and noticed the "funny" steering on the freeway. Others have described it as "wandering" and I agree. It concerns me but not enough to not purchase the car. I'm hoping I can get used to it or get it changed.
I found this utube on the Hyundai electric power steering (MDPS). I did notice this discussion of a "European/general" setting in the "steering effort per region" at the 3:50 min mark. I'm hoping I can reprogram to "European" setting.

We drove a GS today. I wanted to see if the steering was still "funny". I'm happy to report it was just fine today. Can't explain the previous experience.
We really like this car. It's not a hot rod nor a luxury vehicle (I also have an Infinity G35), but it is very nice indeed and is a great value (esp the warranty).
We bought the car, ordered tinting and will pick it up next Friday.
FWIW, I recorded 31+ MPG in city driving using ECO mode.

disappointed that the mileage readout was so far off reality, though.

Got to test drive a GLS auto today... I told them right off that I wanted to see a HB but since they didn't have any yet I want to test drive the GLS to see how it drives...
First, I must say that it is much more roomier than I thought it would be. Front seats are great, but with the seat in a comfortable position for me, I could barely squeeze my legs in the seat behind the driver. BUT I think it would be fine for my kids. (Even if I have to move up a couple clicks)
Second, I didn't notice any loose or wondering feeling in the steering, BUT it did seem to get easier to move the faster I drove.
Third, the auto shifted smooth but compared to my car now, seemed slow. And at highway speed (70mph) either was near the top of 6th gear or near the top of 5th and just not fast enough to shift the 6th. It seemed like if I were to lift off the gas it would slow down pretty fast.
Other than that it was a really nice car, it was priced at $16,050 so it was the base auto model.... I wish cruise was standard and not just avail. with the prem. pack.
I told them thanks for letting me drive it and I'll be back when the HB's come in to compare them before I make a deal.
Oh yeah... They had a Blue and a Grey.... I really like the Blue.... so it's down to Sedan or HB and Blue or Black and manual or auto...

I realized I did not reset the avg mph or avg mpg at fill up, so my avg mph was most likely a little higher and if I'm thinking straight the mpg would be farther off because at fill up it was about 34mpg before the trip.
If the car is like my yaris the mpg should get better as I put more miles on it.
