Default 5W-20 or 5W-30 for 2010 Accent

I live in Los Angeles area, and own 2010 Accent. Should I use 5w-20 or 5s-30 oil for my Accent. And which is the best oil brand for Accent (beside Mobil 1)?
Thank you.

I use 5w-20 Mobil1 in all my cars. Extend your oil change intervals to 5000-7500 miles.

for the oil weight check the owners manual. don't use anything else, period.

for brand i find it doesn't matter all that much. everyone has their preference. mobil1 is good, but not wanting to use it there are plenty of others. myself, i use 5W-30 castrol syntec. i wanted a full synthetic and didn't want to pay the price - this stuff goes on sale where i live every now and then. problem solved

Correct. Use only recommended oil.

I'm running Mobil 1 5w-20 in my 14 Accent, just go by the owners manual and be safe.

I am pretty sure the owners manual says 5w-20 or 5w-30 -- at least that is what my 2012 Elantra manual shows.

From a practical sense, there is nothing that 5w-20 gets you that 5w-30 does not.
