Accent with no spark

Accent with no spark
I recently started working on a 2000 Accent that had be sitting in a garage for 9 months. I replaced the dead battery and one of the terminals due to corrosion. I also replaced the spark plugs. The engine will crank but when I tested for a spark none appeared. The car was in good working order before being put into storage and all the other electrical devices seem to be working fine. I am not sure what I should check for next.

RE: Accent with no spark
if you remove the spark plug wire at the coil and place it about about 1/4 inch away from the coil pack then have an assistant crank the car to make sure there is no spark. if there is definately no spark, then i would check the crank sensor. try unplugging the harness connector then plug it in back. most likely the crank sensor is no good though.
