Default Clutch won't engage

2002 Accent 5 spd 98K miles

I'm having issues with my clutch. I won't engage until my foot is off the pedal, and even then, it's like i'm riding the clutch, it revs but never actually catches. it doesn't ever slip or grab. There isn't any fluid on the garage floor or the car floor. the fluid above the master cylinder is full. does it just need to be bleed?

Clutch is slipping,,, sound like it is worn out. Sounds as if you can freely select gear(s) with pedal pushed and not grind when selecting gear..

Verify slave is releasing, look at arm travel.

If you were to push pedal and it was hard to select gear/grind/crunch when selected, then I would be more concerned with the hydraulic release portion of the system.

Have had a couple slave & clutch masters that did not allow fluid to return to master, the master resevoirs were so full of black mud from aged fluid it clogs up the bore in the master... slaves can get mudded up too, by that time, it's time to replace the works and fill with all clean new fluid.... then change it out every couple yr.
