RE: Gas Mileage question.
I too have an Accent 07' GLS and i put around over 6000 miles so far, and i realize that at frist my car wasn't doing so well in gas mileage until i hit around 2500 miles. And gas can be used up quicker dpending on how you drive also so you gotta consider that too.

RE: Gas Mileage question.
My wife's 2008 Accent, during the cold weather & lower energy winter mix gasoline, continues to be consistent in MPG between 30 to 32 MPG over 7 tanks. She drives a mix of highway, country & city roads.Once higher energy summermix gasoline & warmer weather returns, hope the MPG will bump upwards.

RE: Gas Mileage question.
I encourage everyone to compile their MPG with the U.S. governments' fueleconomy.com website. You can add Notes & you'll get a line graph so you can compare differences in MPG tanks & different conditions that MPG tanks are obtained. My line graph for my Dodge Caliber is 60 tanks long & my wife's Accent line graph is 8 tanks long. Its easy to see the different conditions & how they contribute or hinder MPG. So many questions asked here about MPG will be answered by your personal line graph.
You can compare with other Accent cars or any car that you own with other drivers.

Two tanks so far have been right at the Accent's EPA highway estimate of 32MPG. I bet if we take it for a highway drive once warm weather & higher energy summer mix gas gets here in late winter or early spring, Accent will get much better.
