Default The Great Hyundai Accent MPG Listing...

...well it can be with your help. I'm curious what people are getting on their Accents. For it to be most meaningful, we'll need info beyond just MPG. Here's what i think would really help:

1. MPG - list your average MPG, or city and highway if you know them seperately.
2. City to Highway ratio. 50/50?
3. Mileage of your car.
4. Transmission type. Manual or Auto?
5. Driving style. Do you hypermile, drive "normally," or are you a lead foot?
6. Type of terrain. Is it Nebraska flat, or do you drive up the side of mountain all the time?

Here's my info:
1. 28MPG Average
2. 50/50 city/highway
3. 3500 miles on odometer.
4. 5-speed Manual Trans.
5. Normal driving style.
6. Terrain has some hills (not mountains).

I got this MPG today I drove from Seaside oregon to portland oregon which is about 70 miles. Speed range was between 45 and 55 with a
few hills.
I have a 2003 4dr accent 5speed with 103919 miles on it, i just recently put in those NGK IRIDIUM IX PLUGS and there is a noticiable difference in power
Normally just scootin around town here touch and go traffic i get about 30 miles to gallon

i drove 70 miles today put in $5.00 which gave me 1.6 gallons which calculated out to be 43.8 mpg highway driving
