hello and 2003 Accent stalling problems
Hello, I'm Mike- new to the boards for Hyundai.
So here is my issue... 2003 Accent GL w 107k miles. Not my car, a friends.
She let the alt belt snap and the car died (obviously). Radiator cracked, coolant everywhere, etc. I had it towed to a friends shop, replaced the rad, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc. Luckily the car started and ran like a gem, HOWEVER fast forward to 2 weeks later...
Car began stalling. I suggested a new alternator. Bought a used one on ebay installed it, ran fine for a few days then bam, stalled. Tried a new fuel pump and filter- same thing- ran, then as soon as it warms up stalls.
So now it will start and run perfectly when cold, warms up and dies. Will crank all day (as long as the battery lasts at least) but no pulse to injectors, no fuel pump and no coil spark once it warms up. I'm honestly about to give up and part it out but the rest of the car is in great running shape. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Mike.

Yep, read about that before you responded but thanks!
Was oil on the flywheel that is splashing the sensor so may be a rear main leak. Also now it started ticking loudly so either HLA problem or oil starvation in the head. Will try a quick oil change before panicking but this doesn't look great.
