Default HELP NEEDED PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

Hi There
New to the forum and needing some help on a problem with my 98 Accent MVI
ive only had it about 5 weeks and its got 118,000 on the clock so wasnt expecting much from it
but a couple of weeks ago i noticed it seems to be abit jumpy in low revs mainly in second gear
and you had to speed up to stop the problem that results in some pretty strange driving.

Anyway the other day the jumping got much worse in 2nd and 3 gear mainly the car jumps down the road and even on the mororway in 5th theres slight jumping like slight misfires or something.
Anyway yesterday a guy at a local garage checked the spark pugs and they seemed ok and after he had HT leads off and back on it seemed alot better driving home but today i went out and on my return home the jumping started again and now i cant even drive the car as the jumping is so bad.
Any ideas as im at a loss here
Cheers fellas

Default RE: HELP NEEDED PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

Replace your spark plug wires and plugs. Sounds like you have a "split" in the insulation of one of the plug wires causing it to "arc" and ground itself out. Therefore not making a solid spark.
I had a similar problem years ago. Replacing the plug wires fixed it.
