First of all hello

i am in the market for a new car looking in the next 60 days and the accent and elentra are my top pics even though the elentra isnt that much bigger in the rear seating area from what i have been told

I am looking for a gray 4 door auto with the premium package.

I think the Accent GS/SE is perfect for you. Get it with the comfort package and youll walk out under $16k.

The soul is overpriced.

The Soul is a great vehicle and is not overpriced but it really doesn't have all that much more cargo space. Have you looked into the Forte 5-door hatchback?

1. Comparably equipped compared to a fully loaded Accent SE, you're paying $2000 more for essentially the same car with less space.

2. The only Soul that's even worth looking at has the 2.0L, then get that fully loaded and you're looking at $24,500 not including dealer fees.

Why not just go buy a V6 Camaro? Or an Elantra? Or an Impreza? OR... save $7000 bucks and buy a top-of-the-line Accent?

First, the SE is only available as a hatchback, the original poster said 4-door. So a "comparably equipped" Soul is only about $500 more (MSRP; $325 Invoice) than a GLS sedan.
Also, the Soul is larger than both the Accent sedan and hatchback in every interior dimention (including cargo space) and exterior dimention (excluding wheelbase).

The Soul + with the 2.0L engine is only $17,300 (MSRP). Fully loaded it's only $19,200 (MSRP).
The Soul ! with the 2.0L engine is only $19,600 (MSRP). Fully loaded it's only $22,800 (MSRP).

I have a 2012 Accent GL(canadian) hatchback, I love the car, only had it a month now though, came from a 07 Tucson ltd v6, the best part and the main reason was gas milage, and I actually couldn't care less how often I go now, I am not the slowest driver and am averaging 7-8l per 100kms for 85% city driving. As for cargo space, with my rear seat down, I fit my mountain bike in there with the front tire off last weekend, just so you have an idea for space. With the seats up, I can take our stroller as I have 2 kids 6 and 1, and still do some groceries and shopping. all in all, I think I will be happy with my purchase.
