Default Road noise.

On my 2002 Accent I get a lot of road / tire noise from the rear and when driving in the rain it is realloud.

I take it there is not a lot or no insulating material on the rear wheel wells?

Any one have any ideas to quiet down this noise Accent?

thx.

These work great, but not the safest way to deal with the problem....

I must admit I am LOL (laughing out loud)here in my basement.

Funny thing is there is a pack of those ear plugs sitting on the peg board right beside the "big bad bumbelberry"

Ear plugs aside, I'd check the plastic fender liners on the rear to make sure they are secure (I assume the Accent has fender liners). Most are held on with plastic screws or pop rivets. Even if one is only loose enough to sag against a strut, it will act like a megaphone to the interior.
