Should I buy th a 2001 accent?
Well theres an accent for sale for $750. I haven't test driven it but I'm considering buying it and I'm asking long would this piece last. Its a 2001, 142k miles driven on it. Assuming theres no problems with it, how much longer do you think it'd last without breaking ?

All depends on how it was maintained. At that mileage, the timing belt should have been replaced (twice actually), and if it's an AT, the fluid should have been flushed two to four times as well. Note that the AT should use only SP-III AT fluid; anything else can damage the tranny. If they can show records that these have been done properlyand it has had regular oil changes, it is probably okay. Even though it is high mileage, they were put on overa short time.
I had a Ford Aspire (made by Kia, a Hyundai-owned company) and put 117,000 miles on it. I sold it to someone else who is still driving it with more than 130,000 miles. My wife's Taurus has 83k and still is show-room new except for a couple parking lot dings, and runs great. Different car, I know, but the key is maintenance. They wouldn't have been able to put the miles on if they didn't maintain it. I would almost rather buy a newer, high-mileage car than an older, low-mileage one.

I have the '01 Accent and absolutely LOVE my car. These cars have an engine that will run virtually forever. ..but other parts can go bad. I would run a carfax history report to see how many owners have had it. And make sure the warrantied services were done, and continued after the warranty ended. The Accents are great, but they do need to have the recommended regular servicing, or stuff can go wrong. I was the third owner of mine, I got it with 40K miles on it and still under warranty, and stuff had to be replaced at every checkup for a while. Good news is that parts are cheap, and the car is fast and gets good gas mileage because it is so light. Beware of tranny problems though; they are notorious for it. Good luck; Id jump on it if I were you.
