tune up?
help, after my last car recently died we bought a newer Kia and i inherited an 02 accent.
i don't think it has ever had a tune-up done on it but i has about 69000 miles. should i take it in or should i do it myself. it looks pretty straight forward. plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, airfilter.
any help appreciated.
also is there a HAYNES manual available for this car?

RE: tune up?
[align=left]The thing you should be worried about is the timing belt, it was due to be replaced at 60k. If it breaks, it destroys the motor. Pull a plug and look at the condition to determine if you should replace them or not.

RE: tune up?
I would suggest new plugs and wires and like jsinton suggested, get the timing belt replaced. Also check the air filter, but the fuel filter is in the tank and should be good for 100K miles.
