Default Won't come out of park

I have a 2002 Accent w/1.6L DOHC & automatic trans. Issue just started today. Sometimes won't come out of park. Acts like a safety interlock relay or something isn't working when I step on the brake. What's up with that? Any ck out proceedure or adjustment? Defective brake light switch or something?
Thanks

It could be the brake light switch. It could also be the shifter interlock is sticking.

Hey Novaresource, great picture. Thanks for the quick comeback. I ck'd the brake switch right after my post. It's ok. Seems to be in the solenoid mounting area. I noticed that if I push the shifter forward about 1/8 in. the solenoid will engage just fine. My guess is maybe worn bushings in the shifter or whatever. The pic doesn't seem to showany adjustment for the solenoid or the striker that operates the solenoid plunger. Guess I could JB weld some sort of "tit" on the solenoid tip or the operator to gain the needed 1/8 of travel, or..... just deal with it & push on the shifter as stated above.
