Not hard,, get the upper plenum off and have at it.. just a handfull of bolts.

Install new NGK IRIDIUM only !! Tighten to 20lb-ft

Out of NOVA' instructions.....

#3 -- leave the sensors plugged in and attached to the bracket,, just remove the 1 bolt that hold bracket to plenum (#10)..

#4 -- remove bracket from plenum, unplug coil lead, and take all 3 coil out with harness attached when time come.

Skip #6 and #7

#8 -- remove the rubber hose for at top of throttle body, remove brake booster hose, and remove the bolt "A" at bottom of throttle body.. then remove the 3 bolts holding throttle body to plenum.. look at my pics as to how it should look.

FYI, my instructions are from Hyundai servcie website and are "by the book" but sbr711 is a Hyundai tech who does this on a daily basis. He knows the shortcuts so take his advice on making the job easier.

When pulling the intake, should I replace the intake manifold gasket?

Thanks for providing the information for all of us. I am now ready to tackle the "spark plug" replacement on my Azera.

I GIVE UP !!! How do I disconnect the AFS connector as shown in Step 1 ?? I have searched through both volumes of the Azera Factory Service Manual as well as looking through many posts on this forum but can't . There must be some sort of tab on the underside that must be depressed before the connector can be disengaged... but I can't find it. CAN ANYONE HELP !!! Thanks so much !
