Back windshield sun guard

Sunshade is 5/60 item,, some had recall to replace gear inside, big PIA... what couple we got the tech would break the screws for the cover, then install new shade assembly..
Warranty paid 6 minutes beyond the normal replacement time of the shade, and you had to wire up the thing to partially extend it mid travel, take it apart, change the gear and make sure it was all in time.. HA !!
Break it and install new shade. I seem to recall that Hyundai ended the recall on sunshade gear... might drive through Hyundai service aisle and ask service rep to check VIN on WEBDCS..
Send me VIN, I can run Monday morning.. do not post VIN on-line.

Thanks guys! Since there is a TSB out on this.......is it then covered under warranty??
TSB is only an internal memo saying here is how to replace, what to do or not to do.. it is not a warranty repair unless you fall into the applicable warranty... in this case, 5/60... only coverage beyond that is if it is a recall item, then recall is valid as long Hyundai decides to keep it open.
sbr711.......how should I send you my VIN?? --> Click the link : https://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/p...=newpm&u=10814
