Default EML LIGHT

Hi, sorry if covered elsewhere. I am looking to buy a 2004 hyundai coupe.
Dealer been good about everything but has told me the eml light is on even though it drives fine.. Any idea what the EML light is?
he thinks its just sensory failure but guess he is very unlikely to say anything else.
Have to make up my mind by tomorrow night so any help would be greatly appreciated!

EML = Engine Malfunction Light

Also known as:
-CEL = Check Engine Light
- MIL = Malfunction Indicator Light

Thatlight meansthe computer has determined there is a problem with the engine (or transmission). There will be a specific code for the problem stored in teh computer. A mechanic can read the code(s) to determine what is wrong and fix it.

Just because the car is running fine now doesn't mean it will for long. Get it looked at by a mechanic and get it fixed properly.

You're asking if you should buy a repaired wreck with the EML on? I wouldn't.
