Hi,

Just had my S reg Hyundai Coupe SE in for a service and it turns out that there are a few things that will need some attention at some point in the near future .

Does anyone know where I can get the following without being ripped off? Sorry if I seem a bit green about this but I'm no mechanic...

• Sump Pan & Gasket
• Sump Bung
• Exhaust Maniverter
• Front to rear brake pipes
• Suspension Brushes
• Brakes disc

Any help would be much appreciated. I'm in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, but if anyone knows anywhere that at most an hours drive from where I am, then that would be feasible, and again, appreciated if you can help me out.

Unfortunately, getting ripped off for parts in the UK is a standard operating procedure. Did you try eBay? You didn't say what engine you have or what year your car is, but Elantra shares many of the same parts. Try looking for local junkyards.

 

Cheers. I tried Ebay, but sadly nothing nothing for the Sump & Gasket, or the Maniverter.

 

oh, it's a 2.0 litre engine, and is S reg so 98 I think
