Yes, the coupe isn't a great car. Lots of people get them because they look different, quite frankly i think that they are ugly.

But more to the point, they don't handle to badly when you put them through their paces, however, they get really bad dash rattles, trim rattles, dash and trim cracks, suspension gets very knocky and honestly, they just start sounding like they are falling to peices.

However if you still decide to get one, be sure to get it in the 2.0l manual and make sure you have lots of fun with it in the corners before it starts to get too old.

Hey, hows it going? I don't know what year your looking into getting, but I have a 98' ( 2.0, standard), and I love it. It has over
165 000 KM on it, my husband used to have a 97', and now a 2000 with almost 200 000 KM on it, and none of them have had any problems with the suspension, and none had/ have any cracks in the dash either. They have great pick-up, eispecially if you put a little money into it. I don't know what that other person was talking about, they are not ugly. And atleast you don't see them ALL OVER THE PLACE, like Sunfire's, Cavalier's, etc. I've also raced afew, and they have nothing on Tibs!!
