Default 03 HYUNDAI ELANTRA

I changed the battery on my wifes car , and crossed the terminals . Now the interior lights ,radio , and gas gauge wont work . i replaced all the fuses that i found that were out . the only one thats called "room lp" blows the fuse each time i replace it .I need help to locate where the short my be , and how to repair it .

take it to a good cheap mechanic. Thats what i did with a similar problem as yours.

Especially if you have an aftermarket radio, try disconnecting that. The memory power is on that same circuit. If that doesn't do it, you might have a short in your ETACM, an electrical unit just in front of the ash tray (you have to remove the dash fascia to get to it, but it's pretty easy) and it will replaced. You might be able to get one from a salvage yard. I think they are the same from 2001-2003.
