07 Elantra Lights Exterior/interior not working
#11
The fusible link i meant was a 50a cartridge fuse. the b+1 has power on one side of the male connection in the fuse box, whereas the b+2 50a cartridge fuse has power on both. i am not sure how these fuses function as i think i should not have power present on both connections on the fuse box, but i have started to look around to see what all was done. it was said that a tech looked at it for a combination of 15hrs. and couldn't remedy it. i call BS, but i found a vampire bite that ran from a front wire that has switched voltage that runs to the rear tail light, another wire in the drivers side door panel feeding power to another plug in the door, i am starting to think i'm going to unravel a lot more of this before its all over. i think my solution will be to buy an add a circuit( you know, the plastic connection that allows for wiring another fuse in the box, like a littel fuse mini add a circuit card) for the 2 10a fuses labeled tail lamp LH and tail lamp RH, run those to a switch and add 12V to the switch and be done with it. that should work, and it will be double fused, from the switch side and the light side.
