Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default 1997 Lantra wont start

So check this out. About a week or so ago, my car was lagging some power, especially during acceleration. I swapped out the plugs, everything seemed to be fine. Now, a week later, the car just wants to turn over and not start. I changed the plugs again, and i checked the coil pack to make sure i was still getting spark at the plugs. One by one, i put the plugs on the wire and grounded it to the block. Only the 1 & 4 were getting spark. So i figure coil pack right? I went to the junkyard and got one for like $30 out of a similar model. Now it wants to actually arc from the coil pack. Specifically the # 3 coil. Is there anything besides the coil pack from the junkyard that couldbe faulty as well? Let me know. thanks!

This is a classic symptom of a clogged fuel filter. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the car and see what you're getting up at the injectors. That will get you pointed in the right direction. Just an idea.
