Alright guys im new to this forum i jsut bought a used elantra, its a 2002 sedan, i need both cv axles, and an IAC sensor on the intake manifold, im wondering are these parts at all interchageable from other hyundai or kia cars? as im having a hard time finding these at the wreckers in alberta (canada) umm another question is do the fenders and front bumper cover from an elantra gt hatch fit into a 4 door sedan? as well as the seats? hope you guys can let me know id appreciate it and thanks.

 

CV joints - you should be able to find them for $60 to $100 rebuilt. Don't get them from the junkyard, they're not worth it.

IAC - Junkyard or pay a lot of money new. Did you try eBay?

Front bumper should fit from a GT.

 

i rather go with junkyaard parts as the car is 5 years old not worth buying new, and cv's here brand new are around $180-$200, i rather buy used for $25 that is just as good you can tell if a cv has play or not buy checking it. and for the IAC i was wondering if other cars fits because im having a hard time finding one from an elantra and their around $300 from the dealers.

another question is do the elantra GT leather seats fit int he sedan, front and back?

 

Got the IAC sensor for $2 from junkyard from a 2001 hyundai accent, exact same part number and exact same fit. so it is interchangeable with accent. umm still trying to get cv axles found a used one for $75 will pick that up tomorrow, need 1 more, and am wondering if elantra gt hatch, front and rear seats fit the 4 door sedan? yes no? anyone try to do it so i can see if there is gaps etc..?

 

Did you try eBay? They usually ship to Canada. $75 for a junkyard axle is criminal.
