im about to buy a used 2004 hyundai elantra, on a test drive when i put the car in park the engine is super quiet, but when i put it in drive i get this sorta loud vibration its loud enough that any passangers might ask... is your engine alright? and it sounds like its comming from the engine, for the whole 1st gear the vibration can be felt in 2nd gear it smooths out and the engine is super queir when in park, so it must not be the engine, might be the trans. i just want to know if anyone with a 2004 - 2006 hyundai elantra has experianced the same thing, is it normal? i was thinking about buying it and just taking it to a hyundai dealer for them to check it out since its still under warrenty and everything is covered.

and another thing the shocks are really stiff. i read reviews and it said that the shocks are pretty stiff but when i drove it i didnt expect it to be so dramtic. they are really hard, i felt every bump in the road! its almost like it didnt have any shocks i was shocked. is that normal too?
