The car is in excellent condition, 46,000 miles, fluids good, temp good. (MIL) Light came on during a short trip this morning of about 15 miles. It has been hot here in AZ, afternoon temps above 110F, current ambient about 100F. No issues with this vehicle since purchase. We are 2nd owners.

Are there cheap diagnostic tools out there, or should we take it to the dealer?
