2010 Elantra SE Headlamp Differences?
I have a 2010 Elantra SE that I bought back in June. I came out to the parking lot a couple of days ago to find that my hood was slightly dented and the drivers side headlight was broken. (It looks like the SUV that was parked in front of me backed up instead of pulling forward and the spare tire on the back door did the damage.)
I went to get a new headlight and found some confusing information- the passengers side headlight is about $175 (which is about the same price as other recent years) but the drivers side is $240.
The units look identical and I'm trying to figure out if there is a reason for the price difference or if someone just made a typo in the master catalog.
Thanks,
-Mark

Almost no difference
The previous year lights fit perfectly. The only difference I've found is that the edge of the little lens for the turn signal has a chrome edge on previous years, and a clear edge on the 2010. You would never notice unless it was pointed out to you. Why the light without chrome is more expensive than the light with the chrome ring I can't explain.
