BIG ABS PROBLEM
I have a 2002 Elantra GLS I took it to a local shop because I had a noise in my driver front tire like a wine. It was my wheel bearings which I had both sides replace now while they where working on the car the left side ABS Senor broke due to being rusty. So I had them both replace. I went on Monday to pick up my car it was ready to be picked up I paid $551.35. When I took off with my car the first thing I notice was my steering wheel was very shakey and it felt like my driver tire wanted to come off. Also when I would hit the brakes the ABS would kick in and the brake pedal would go crazy jumping like it was on ice. I took the car back the next day since the shop was already close. They found the problem to the steering wheel shakeing it was when they pressed the bearings in they bent one of my hubs they replaced it Free of charge but the problem with the ABS light and the TCS Light and the pedal jumping they can't find the problem. They hook up the car to the computer reset it and in 10 mins of driving the car down the road it starts up again. The Guy frank at the repair shop tells me there is nothing he can do mean while he was the one that messed up the car because when I took it in I had no problems with my ABS. I already contacted My Credit Card Company and placed a Dispute on this. The car is not safe you lose your brakes when the ABS starts jumping and going crazy. Does anyone have any clues on what I should do? I feel like taking it to the Dealer
