Code issue
I have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra with the engine maintenance light on. I used a ScanGauge II to find the code. I got U0D07. I reset the car and checked when the light reappeared with the same code result. What does this code indicate?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re-read posts 2 & 3 above....
I want to see a P-xxxx type code, then I can tell you where to start.
As "Buddy" over at Sturm says --> "Help us to help you"

Let me see if I can say this again so you will understand:
U0D07 is not a valid OBD-II code. Use a different scanner.
That U code is a communication error with the ScanGuage II.

OBD code
I used two different ScanGuage II units, both reading the "u" code.
I assume there is a problem with the output plug connection under the dash. Is there another output plug connection under the hood (like on my Toyotas)?

No, there is only one OBD-II port and it is under the dash. Forget the ScanGuage. Get the computer read by a real OBD-II code reader. Hyundai cars require a special (read: different than normal) cable to connect the ScanGauge.
