My wife tried to move a snowbank with her 08 Elantra and now I have to replace it.
About how much should it cost if I take just the new bumper cover to a body shop for painting? I would installed it later with all the other plastic shields she broke. Thanks.

 

My experiece is that the prices of body shops are wildly inconsistant. The advice is to shop around. My Dad damaged his 06 Prius by driving over a truck tire tread, we rode around one day to different body shops and the price was like $150 to $800 just to do a little bondo and spray.

 

I got two today. $150 and $250. To do myself,, the primer, base coat and gloss would be about $85. The part that got me thinking was the $250. price was from a friend, so I wanted to get some ideas. Thanks.
