Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Starting Problems

I have had my 2002 Elantra since 2001. (It's 5 years old and paid for, yay!)

My problem is that I am now on my 3rd battery. I was in a car accident 4 years ago and my car was repaired by an excellent body shop. The battery then had to be replaced due to damage and about 6 to 8 months after the repairs, my car wouldn't start one day unless it was jumped each time. So I figured I just had a faulty battery. The body shop replaced it free of charge of course. I haven't had any problems until now. Yesterday, my dad drove my car, got ready to leave from somewhere and the car would not start. Has anyone else had this problem before? We're not sure if it is the battery. I will say that I have not enjoyed having a Hyundai and I can't wait to get rid of this car because of all the problems I have had with it (not just the battery!).

If anyone could help me out before I have to buy a new battery or take it to the dealer, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!!!
