Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Tranny repaired, now AC doesn't work???

2000 Elantra

Could there be any correlation between having a transmission replaced and then the AC not working?

When I hit the AC switch the background lights up but the compressor does not activate. I have checked the fuses and they seem fine. I took the fuse from the AC location and tested it by putting it in the headlight position. Lights worked.

Blower works fine.

Somebody disconnected something. I'd go back to whoever replaced your trans.

I have done that already. They said they didn't touch anything related to AC.

Maybe not intentionally but things happen. Maybe wiring to the compressor or pressure sensors were accidentally knocked loose.
