Trunk and Gas latches, 2000 Elantra
I'm having a slight problem with my 2000 Elantra. When I go for gas, or try to pop the trunk, the levers at the foot of the seat are really, really stiff, as in, barely able to pull on. I'm not so worried about the trunk, because I can always use the key to open that, but I really don't want to use a manual way to open the gas cover (if there even is one).
Is there any way to get to the the pivot of these levers to lube them up? I can't really see right now as it's currently dark, but am planning on taking a look tomorrow, and I'd prefer to be armed with the knowledge of how to do it.
Any help is appreciated
