hello!my daughter has a 98 elantra and after 2 days of below zero weather her car will turn over and it sounds like it wants to start but will not kick in!it has warmed up for a few days in 20+ weather but still nothing!anybody have an idea what is going on?

 

Likely a frozen fuel line. Dump a bottle (or two) of Iso-HEET in the tank and let the car sit overnight. Regular HEET may work as well, but the alcohol in the Iso- product will do a better job of thawing any ice that may have formed in the lines, particularly at sub-zero temps. Since the starter has been used repeatedly, it wouldn't hurt to charge the battery back up while waiting for the HEET to work.
