Default 2010 Elantra Touring not on Website

I am looking at buying the 2010, and am a bit surprised that the dealer has about 10 in stock, but is having trouble with pricing and options. Part of their problems is on the Hyundai website they don't even show the car, and of course you can't view trims, options, pricing, etc.

What's up with that? I would think the web would be ready before the cars were on the street!

Kelley Blue Book lets you price with options too.

Try here instead:

Seriously, basically the same car except Hyundai has decided to offer the Theta engine in the Forte before offering it in the Elantra. No timing belt hassles with the Theta.

This is the same car as the Elantra sedan sir, not the i30 CW / Elantra Touring...but you are right about the engine option..It is quite the bummer that the ET got a beta instead of the theta.

Quite right, I missed the Touring designation. How about this as an alternative:

Unless you want or need the hatchback of the Touring, I think the styling on Forte (either 2 or 4 door) knocks the socks off the entire Elantra line. If you are into red cars, like me, you'll think the new "Spicy Red" exterior on the Koup is unbelievable. Well, enough of this. This is a Hyundai forum after all.

Actually, that's not true either. The Forte is NOT the same as the Elantra sedan. They are very different cars.

Fair enough. The cars target a similar audience but they are NOT the same cars.

I had the same problem when shopping, too. I picked up a 2010 ET, GLS, Auto 2 weeks ago. The shopping was pretty easy since I had a budget of 20K and this car sticker with the add ons I wanted was closer to 21K. The sales guy said 20K out the door (Tax, title, fees...etc) so then it was back in my budget. I came home to research it and ended up using third party reviews and comparison sites. Plus I had plenty to read about the 2009 model, too.

Happy researching! For me it came down to a 2009 Honda Fit and 2010 Elantra Touring. After trade in both were 16,500 out the door. I test drove them both and thought the ET would make for a better replacement for my minivan. I gave up some MPGs but made it up in Cargo Space, Warranty plus a couple of months of value from getting a 2010.
