Default Bra for Touring

Realizing the opening I've created with the title is there a mfg. out there that has a bra for the 09 touring? If not domestic, will the I30 bra work? Need a bra for all of the "chip and seal" roads in the area.

Just picked up our red/beige/manual this last weekend and already have 535 mi. on her. Quick background, still have the car it's replacing. A 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT with 200,000 and counting miles. Have really enjoyed the GT, only time anyone has been into the engine is to replace timing and drive belts every 60,000 mi.
Car has been almost trouble free but the mileage was a concern as we drive an average of 25,000 miles annually on New Mexico highways and byways. Hoping to see the same results from the Touring.
If any problems crop up will post them here on hyundaiforum.
Thanks.

I will be interested in getting one of these when I purchase a Touring this fall. I do a lot of highway driving and my Sonata is starting to show the wear. It would be nice to avoid this with my new vehicle. I wonder if the dealer offers them as accessories?

Update. The hyundaiaccessorystore.com says they have the bras in stock for the U.S. Touring. Cost: $123.50 plus shipping (approx $20.00). If you register as a new member they will discount your total purchase by 11%.
I've ordered one today and will post a comment when received re; quality, fit etc.

Smile Picture of Touring with Front Bra

Hello,
Did you purchase the front bra? If so, would you please send a pic so we can see what it looks like?

I found a front plastic protection piece you can buy from Hyundai in Canada. Thanks and have a great day.

Happy Touring.
Had my car for a week. Love the car but hated the sales process with my dealership. Couldn't find a 5 speed anywhere and had to take a color I didn't especially want but can live with it. I would like to see a 6 speed manual transmission like in Europe become available next year.

Default Received bra

I've had the bra for about three weeks now and am pleased so far. The bra looks very nice on the car and the way the mfg. cut the template makes the front of the car look more aggressive to me. A couple of things concern me. The vinyl material is a lighter weight than the bra I have for my 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback and the clips that fit under the wheel wells are plastic as opposed to the malleable lead?/fabric ones on my old bra. Don't know about longevity but I guess time will tell.
As for posting pictures I apologize but I've never taken the time to learn how. But I should I guess, as my grown daughter reminds me " Damn dad, get with the program".

How much of the frontal area is covered by the bra? I just discovered a rock chip on my hood. I do 90% of my driving on the freeways...

Also, does anyone know if that miracle marker from the television commercials would work to help erase this blemish??

Don't know about that, but I did notice the last time I was at the dealer that they had markers there that match the Hyundai paint.

Here's a cheaper route for touch-up paint:
http://www.paintscratch.com

Regular touch up paint or a paint pen with clear coat in it? Any suggestions?

My personal preference is separate touch-up paint and clear coat. I'm not a big fan of the paint pens.
